Sick Day
June 29th, 2004 by owenamNot for me — for David. I just convinced him to take his first sick day ever (!) after falling off his bike this morning. He’s quite all right; just a bit shaken and scraped up. The rear rim is a tad out of shape, but we’ll be off to Kenwood Cyclery shortly to get that taken care of.
As for me: I’ve just finished my first full period of rotation, which went just fine. In fact I’m pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it (even the overnights) — the only really crappy part is that it can interfere with your ability to have a social life. Having unemployed friends helps, though.
I need to handle all the biking posts better. Hopefully I’ll get them moved to their own area on the page so that they don’t interfere so much with the regular posts.
