December 7th, 2006 by owenamWhoops. Right after MN passed a constitutional amendment (talk to D for that half of the argument) specifying that funds from motor vehicle sales tax be used for transportation expenses, vehicle sales decline and transit gets less money.
“Just think how much worse this would be if the amendment did not pass.”
Or, just think how much better it would be if the legislature did its job and gave gave transportation exactly as much money as it needs.
