Minneapolis just got Google Street View! It appears that the images were taken this past summer, not long before the 35W bridge collapse — traffic is down to two lanes and there is a work crew resurfacing the other lanes (see for yourself). Also, I think this port-a-potty is in fact the same one seen here.
UPDATE: It looks like some of the images were taken after the collapse. That guy looks pretty pissed that his bridge fell down.

“Oh yeah, we get mortared once in a while.”
That’s the latest from a Guardsman coworker deployed in Iraq. Food and laundry service are very good.
